Prior to founding Pangaea Solutions in 2001, Mr. Harris worked for over 10 years in the technology industry with companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Enron. Mr. Harris was a founding member of senior management with two Silicon Valley based startup companies (VitalLink Business Systems and Centrifi), handling the responsibilities of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Strategy.

Mr. Harris also managed the operations of a $8M diagnostic radiology company with operations in New York and Texas. Mr. Harris received his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.

Our Business History

The name for the company comes from the Greek word Pangaea, which is the theoretical super-continent when all the Earth's land masses were one; before continental drift pulled them apart to form the continents as we know them today.

The concept behind Pangaea is to provide an integrated, wholistic solution.  The idea came to me from a Word-of-the-Day calendar I received from my mother in 1990.  At the time, I said to myself that one day, I will have a company with the name Pangaea.  Ten years later, that goal became a reality.
